PuyallupandTacoma

Puyallup - Rob's - Tacoma

After finishing in Vancouver BC, we met up with Chloe and her group - now our group is 13! An easy crossing into the USA and we were on our way to Seattle. A long shopping stop at the Outlets~ love shopping~ and we were on our way to Puyallup. We had some great traffic through Seattle (right after I made a joke about the Northbound traffic build-up).

But we made it. Rob's was great! We ate some DELICIOUS food here too! Ashley (Rob's wife) pointed out: "All the kids take just little spoon-fulls of food the first round, just to try. Then it passes the delicious taste test so they go load up a second plate!" She made some great spaghetti and meatballs the first night. A taco soup with quesadillas and chips the second. So great! Thanks to Rob and Ashley for their hard work!

The second day, we went to Woodland Park Zoo. The animals were great! I'm pretty sure we all loved that place. And the weather was perfect. Raining while in the car, cool while walking and running around the park, perfect evening to play some soccer and get stung by bees. Oh, well, yes. That happened. While playing some soccer and Frisbee at the park, 4 students got attacked by hornets. Legs arms necks feet. Luckily no one is allergic to stings. Just came home, iced it up, and gave some speeches- such troopers!

Next stop: Mt Rainier and Spokane. See you there!
